Hayley and Maria are the event managers and stylists behind Divinity Signature Events – a boutique agency creating fresh, elegant weddings in Byron Bay. “I love what I do and I believe that shows in attention to detail, listening to what my clients want and going that extra mile to make sure everything is perfect”.

Divinity has operated in Byron since 2001 and has earned a reputation for style and professionalism with clients and local suppliers, creating truly special days for each couple. Divinity is definitely not a ‘wedding in a box’ style company. Each event is completely individual, cultivated from the client’s ideas and polished with stylish simplicity.

Choosing a coordinator for your event makes good sense, especially when distance is involved. It takes the stress out of planning and ensures you have access to the best suppliers. You can relax knowing that someone else is handling the details with expertise. At less than 5% of the average cost of your event, it is a relatively small expense for peace of mind. Maria Birch – Director

Maria Birch is a real romantic at heart and loves weddings. One of Maria’s gifts is the ability to interpret initial ideas – whether that is a scrapbook of things you love, magazine clippings, photos or even just brainstorming conversation – and bring them to life in a practical and joyful way.

Maria also really enjoys being able to weave a couple’s family history, traditions, spiritual beliefs and personal story into their wedding day; creating a day which is an authentic reflection of the paths that have brought you to this place, who you are as a couple, and the life you’ll share together beyond.

Being an adventurous spirit with a love of different cultures and traditions, Maria has travelled extensively, having enjoyed the pleasure of living and working overseas for many years. Her impressive international background in hospitality and special events include wonderful experiences in Israel, Japan, Thailand and New Zealand.

Now happily settled in the beautiful hinterland of Byron Bay, Maria loves helping introduce love birds to the delights and the magic of the incredible special places, and people that help make it so wonderful.

Hayley Cravigan - Director

Hayley comes equipped with vast local knowledge, being born and raised in the Byron region. Hayley has been fortunate enough to return to this beautiful area, and in this spectacular region, Hayley indulges her passion and zeal for delivering beautiful events for her clients.

Hayley brings a wealth of experience to Divinity Signature Events. Under Hayley’s leadership Divinity has earned a reputation for style and professionalism with clients and suppliers, creating truly special days for each couple. Hayley has been setting benchmarks for quality and service in the Wedding Industry. Widely considered as an expert in the wedding field, Divinity Signature Events have featured in numerous magazines including Bride 2 Be, Real Weddings, Studio Brides, Costal Brides and Australian Entertains.

Prior to working in weddings, Hayley worked for nine years in Communications in London, Brisbane and Sydney. In this time she managed and delivered communication programs across a number of different projects and sectors. After studying Communications at the University of Queensland and Interior Design at the Commercial Arts Training College (CATC), Hayley has gained considerable experience in designing and delivering a diverse range of large and small scale events. Hayley has worked with the NSW Government, University of Sydney, Corporate Express, Middlesex Government, Ten & Under Distributing, Stars with Heart and more.

Hayley brings her zeal for design, her creative spirit and love of weddings to Divinity Signature Events, making her the perfect partner for your special day. Hayley’s professional approach and ability to craft unforgettable events makes her the only one you need for your most memorable and special day.
